NYC BIG APPLE GRAPPLE XXVII USA / INTERNATIONAL ALL-PRO

ARM WRESTLING CHAMPIONSHIPS ON MARCH 20, 2004

Manhattan, March 5, 2004 ----Over 100 of the best arm wrestlers in the world

will compete for the ultimate title of NYC’s King and Queen of Arms. The Saturday

March 20, 2004 event will be held at the Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum, which is

located at Pier 86 - West 46^th Street and 12^th Avenue in Manhattan. The NYC Big Apple

Grapple XXVII begins with the weigh-in and registration at 10 AM. Starting time at12:30

PM; Finals should begin at 3:30 PM and award ceremony at 4:30 PM. General admission

is $14.50 for adults and $7.50 for children. The entry fee for contestant’s entry fee is $35,

that includes admission to the Museum and a FREE arm wrestling T-shirt.

The event consists of nine weight classes for men and three weight classes for

women.  Unique custom gold, silver and bronze arm wrestling awards will be given

for first, second and third place, plus, the day’s strongest male and female will once

again be crowned as NYC's 'King and Queen of Arms'. "This event draws the best

pro talent in the world” said Gene Camp; founder and president of the 27-year old

New York Arm Wrestling Association.

The event will feature Cynthia Yerby from Wolf, Oklahoma, a TEN-time world

champion that has more than 30 professional arm wrestling titles in her resume. Yerby

won the New York City's 'Queen of Arms' title the last FOUR years in a row.  Another

champion;  expected to compete, is Mamuka Pajishvili from the Republic of Georgia,

who is New York City's King of Arms.  Yerby, Pajishvili and last year’s NYC Big Apple

 Grapple XXVI Champions will all be back to defend their titles.
