2004 End of year NewsLetter

I want to take this time to wish everyone safe and Happy Holidays.

Another year is about to end, the World Championship was a big success and plans to Unify are going ahead as planned.  There were over 600 entries from 31 countries at this years World Championship in South Africa.  Next year in Japan is expected to be even bigger with the Unification of the two WAF bodies.  I want to congratulate all the members of team USA that competed at this years World Championship.  Although the team was smaller than usual we managed to take 4th place overall in points.

I also want to congratulate all the members on their getting involved more this year.  The point’s championship is over and the results are as follows:

For anyone interested we have posted a poll on the IAF links page (http://iaf1.homestead.com/events.html).  There is one posted for men and one for women.  We will change the weight classes every 15 days or there about.  The top 5 will be posted on both the IAF message board and the Northeast Board.  This is not a perfect poll but it is there for everyone to use.

Still waiting for all the votes to come in for Armwrestler of the Year.  The results will be posted in January’s Newsletter.  All awards will be handed out at the Can-Am Championship on March 5th.  There seems to be a lot more interest this year in the voting.
