I would like to inform everyone that we have a New State Director for the State of Pennsylvania.  The Director is Susan Fischer from Fairless Hill, PA.  Susan has been around Armwrestling for quite awhile as her husband used to armwrestle but has since retired.  Susan became involved again at the State Fair 3 years ago.  She beat the defending Champion.  Susan again defended her title next year and won again.  After this victory Susan went on to compete at the USA Unified Nationals in Illinois.  She place there and went on to compete at the World Championship last year.  Again this year she defended her title at the Fair and again was victorious.  I feel sure that Susan will be a nice addition to the IAF family as the Director from Pennsylvania.

We as armwrestlers should try to make as many events a year as possible, if not to compete then to cheer on a friend or team member.  Armwrestling needs Sponsors and places to hold events.  Sponsors look for a large head count more than quality of armwrestlers.  We need to attend tournaments no matter who is holding them.  This is our sport and we need to promote it fully.
