ALL TIME BIGGEST PROFESSIONAL ARMWRESTLING TOURNAMENT IN FINLAND 13. - 15.4.2001

International armwrestling tournament April 13. - 15. 2001.

All entrants must be on hand for weight-ins either Friday night 7 - 10 pm April 13th at Hotel Sommelo in Kuusankoski town south-east Finland.
Weight-in  in Elimäki high school gym hall Saturday 9:00 am to noon.
Competition starts 1:00 pm in Elimäki High school.
 

WEIGHT CLASSES:

Open series
Men’s Professional right hand. CASH PRICES - 1ST PRICE MIN 15.000 FIM (~2200 $)
Ladies Professional right hand. CASH PRICES - 1ST PRICE MIN 5.000 FIM (~700 $)

Competition series
Men’s Professional Right Hand only: -66 kg - 78kg - 90kg + 90kg. CASH PRICES.
Ladies Professional Right:  -60 kg and +60 kg. CASH PRICES.

There will be no clothing allowance - You can weight-in without clothing.

Open series starts Sunday 1:00 pm. To take part Open series you should take part Competition series as well. Competition series starts Saturday 1:00 pm.

For Novices there is own competitions in Pub Sommelo at Hotel April 13th. Weight-in and registration for them will be 7 - 8 pm in Pub. Competition starts 9:00 pm.

AWARD CEREMONIES will hold at hotel Sommelo Sunday April 15th 8:00 pm.

Competition series

Cash price for each series three best.

Cash prize money comes straight from add-moneys. All incomes from add's will be used for prizes.
Men open - 30% of all goes three best of men open series so that first will got 60% and second 30% and third 10%.
Women open - 15% of all goes three best of women open series so that first will got 60% and second 30% and third 10%.
Rest of the income goes competition series winners. Aim of incomes is 150.000 FIM - not guaranteed. Other cash prizes depends final incomes of add-sales except Open series first places.

Preliminary registration - We hope that foreign contestant registration
at least march 30. 2001. You can register via e-mail or fax.

You can register also at time of weight-in.

Other things:

We have asked that one of World Strongest man competitor would take part of tournaments men open series. We have good chance to have some time in national TV-channels.
