I met Rick Schroder, NYPD Blue, last
year, April '03, at the Burbank Airport while returning home from the
California State Championship Tournament. He was working on a movie,
"Black Cloud", that he wrote and directed. We sat together on the
airplane and visited during the flight home. He is a great fan of
armwrestling. Last month, April '04, I was invited by Rick to the premiere of
"Black Cloud" at the Nashville Film Festival in Nashville, TN. There
was a reception given before the premiere and it also happened to be Tim
McGraw's birthday. Tim McGraw made his film debut in the movie "Black
Cloud". He plays the part of sheriff in the movie. When he found out that
I was an armwrestler, the challenge was on. Here's the picture. By the way, if
you get a chance, see the movie. I totally enjoyed it.
