BULGARIAN ARMWRESTLING FEDERATION & ARMSPORT CLUB BANSKO have the pleasure to invite world’s strongest hands to take part in the 5th International Competition BANSKO OPEN 2004 /May 1, 2004/

Host city – Bansko, Bulgaria.

Bansko is situated 150 km. from Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, in the southwest part of the country. It is the most popular winter resort in Bulgaria and is a wonderful tourist attraction not only in the winter, but in all seasons with its numerous and popular museums of people who played a great role in Bulgarian history.

Venue – CULTURE HOME NIKOLA VAPTZAROV

Date – May 1, 2004

Opening ceremony and start of the competitions – May 1st,  2004, 12.00 pm

Weight-in – April 30^th 04.00pm – 06.00 pm and May 1^st 08.00am – 11.00am

Weight classes

Men – right hand –up to 70 kg, up to 80 kg, up to 90 kg, up to 100 kg, 100+ kg,

Men – left hand – up to 70 kg, up to 90 kg, 90+ kg

Women – right hand – up to 60 kg, 60+ kg

Women – left hand – up yo 60 kg., 60+ kg

Juniors – right hand – up to 63 kg, up to 70 kg, up to 78 kg., 78+ kg

Juniors – left hand – up to 70 kg, up to 78kg, 78+ kg

Every competitor in men division right hand, who ranks from 1^st to 3^rd place has the right to pull in Absolute division right hand.

Prize fund –  more than 2 000 Euro in cash and  prizes.

Competition fee – 15 Euro per person. /No competition fee for juniors weight classes/

Airport – Sofia

Transfer – Sofia-Bansko-Sofia – 20 Euro per person

Accomodation – approximately 25 -30 Euro per person per night /breakfast included/
