BULGARIAN ARMWRESTLING FEDERATION & ARMSPORT CLUB BANSKO have the pleasure to invite world’s strongest hands to take part in the International Competition BANSKO OPEN 2002 /April 27 – 28, 2002/

 Host city – Bansko, Bulgaria.

Bansko is situated 150 km. from Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, in the southwest part of the country. It is the most popular winter resort in Bulgaria and is a wonderful tourist attraction not only in the winter, but in all seasons with its numerous and popular museums of people who played a great role in Bulgarian history.

 Date – April 27^th – 28^th, 2002

 Opening ceremony and start of the competitions – April, 27^th 2002, 1230 pm

 Weight classes

Men – right hand – up to 70 kg, up to 80 kg, up to 90 kg, up to 100 kg, 100+ kg

Men – left hand – up to 70 kg, up to 90 kg, 90+ kg

Women – right hand – up to 60 kg, 60+ kg

Juniors – right hand – up to 65 kg, up to 75 kg, 75+ kg

Juniors – left hand – up to 70 kg, 70+ kg

 Prize fund – 2 500 Euro in cash and over 1 000 Euro in prizes.

Competition fee – 15 Euro per person. /No competition fee for juniors weight classes/

Airport – Sofia

Transfer – Sofia-Bansko-Sofia – 20 Euro per person

Accomodation – approximately 25 Euro per person per night /breakfast included/
