“Arnold
Classic Armwrestling Challenge” Weight Classes:
Mens
Right Hand Only: 0-154, 155-176, 177-198, 199+.
Ladies
Right Hand: 0-143 pounds.
There will be specific weight divisions at
each of the qualifiers. The male athletes must compete in the 133-154, 155-176,
177-198, 243+ right hand classes in the National Pro-Am and the Worlds’
Wristwrestling Championships above to qualify for the “Arnold Classic”.
In the USA Unified Armwrestling Championships the athletes must compete
in the 144-154, 166-176, 188-198, and 243+ right hand divisions to qualify.
The female athletes must compete in the 0-143# classes in the National
Pro-Am and WWC and in the 133-143# class at the Unified Armwrestling
Championship. The top 3 winners in each of these tournaments will automatically
secure their spot in the ACAC 2004. Should any of the top 3 finishers decide to
not attend then the USAA will ask the next successor(s) in order in the
respective weight divisions. An Armwrestler may only compete in one class at the
ACAC.
Canadian Athletes must qualify by attending the Canadian National
Armwrestling Championships and place in the top 3 places in the same classes
specified above at the USA Unified National Armwrestling Championship. All
International athletes, including Canada, are welcome to qualify at the National
Pro-Am Armwrestling Championships and the World Wristwrestling Championship
being held in the U.S.
ALL
athletes must qualify, there will be no special invitations issued.
