29th  SENIOR NATIONAL ARMWRESTLING CHAMPIONSHIP TO BE  HELD IN BHILAI, CHHATTISGARH, INDIA ON 22nd, 23rd, 24th and 25th SEPTEMBER, 2005.

Dear Friends,

We are pleased to inform you that our Chhattisgarh Armwrestling Association is going to conduct the 29th Senior National Armwrestling Championship at Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, India from 22nd to 25th September, 2005. The championship will be held as per WAF rules and the Body Weight categories are as follows:- (as per Japan Worlds).

Men:-Upto50, 55 kg, 60 kg, 65 kg, 70 kg, 75 kg, 80 kg, 85 kg, 90 kg, 100 kg, 110 kg and +110 k.
Women:- upto 45kg, 50 kg, 55 kg, 60 kg, 65 kg, 70 kg, 80 kg and + 80 kg.
Physically Handicapped:- upto 60 kg, 70 kg, 90 kg and + 90 kg.
Masters :- Above 40 years of age – upto 70 kg, 80 kg, 90 kg, 100 kg and +100 kg.
Fooding will be provided from 23rd to 25th September and Lodging from 22nd to 26th Sept. 2005.
Entry Fee will be Rs.150/- per competitor.

The above championship will be inaugurated by the eminent personalities / dignitaries of our country, like President of Indian Olympic Association, Sports Minister, Chief Minister etc. with a colourful march fast. Attractive prizes will be awarded to all 1st, 2nd & 3rd place holders in all classes.

There will also be a selection trial for Team India to represent our country in the forthcoming 27th World Armwrestling Championship to be held in Tokyo, Japan from 27th Nov. to 5th Dec.05.
